Post #1: "How a book can have 560 pages, but only three can change a readers life."-Emoke

I chose this quote because it has always fascinated me, the effect words can have on people. Every single person in the world has a different perspective to share, and finding these can be grounding and interesting because it can make you question the way you look at things, and find yourself. The simple words "and then he died," can invoke tears, and leave you missing an actual human, who was real to you, when really they are just constructed of paper and words, until they have become a physical being to you, something irreplaceable. Words can advise you to change the things you do, and words can make you brave.Words can teach you experience that you could not understand on your own, and show you what it is like to be someone else. Words are our communication, not in the most obvious form; that words are what we use to talk to each other, but also, they are our communication in the way that we can relate, and understand exactly what it is like to be anyone other than ourselves. Words are the basis on which the life we have chosen has been formed, wnhy not embrace it?
